I became a hobbyist photographer in 2019 when we began traveling the USA and Canada in our camper van. We don't necessarily plan for the most advantageous times and locations, just photograph what we see along the way and try to capture the essence of the moment. I shoot all genres with the exception of portraits. We live in the Lake Tahoe area so some of my photography is from the area near my home as well. I currently shoot the Nikon Z8 for wildlife and Z7ii for landscapes and also capture a lot with my iPhone Pro, especially landscapes and cityscapes. I started posting to Flickr in 2023 in order to share my photos with family and friends but I have really grown to enjoy the Flickr community.
