When I was a four years old boy, my elder brother Harald Ebers was preparing his examen to get a photographer. I was fascinated to see the positives starting on a white sheet becoming gray and darker until the real picture was finished. I had reached the age of 14, my brother presented his christmas gift for me. It was an Ihagee-EXA IA with the Carl-Zeiss-Tessar 3.5/50 mm from Jena. Slowly but steady my equipment grew with different lenses and I learned the whole process for development and enlarging. With 16 years I got an excellent teacher. Peter von Waldthausen, wellknown photographer in Berlin, trained me to find out the best perspectives and composing a well done picture. He was convinced about the existence of "an absolute good photo". Today, I try to keep this old tradition alive. Have a look to and enjoy.
