I have never edited and never will edit my photographs. If I am unable to produce straight out of camera photographs I like, then I need to continue practising until I do.

Taking photos is relaxing for me. I become entranced with a subject and how to capture it as I see it. I also take photographs to preserve memories and to show others how beautiful the world is. Sometimes photography subjects can appear boring or mundane to others. It is fun and challenging to interpret those and find an interesting way to portray.

I consider myself a volunteer photographic journalist.
