Inspired by our 6 year old’s passion for unusual wildlife but struggling to find anything other than the typical farmyard/jungle/safari animals when decorating the nursery of the our second child, I decided to put my 20 years as a professional graphic designer to use by creating my very own range of prints - called Weirdimals. Taking inspiration from countless visits to the zoo and family viewing sessions watching David Attenborough, Steve Backshall and many other natural history programmes and books, Weirdimals embrace the rare, weird and wonderful animals around the globe. Beginning with the Tarsier and Aye Aye and with a lengthy list of potential other Weirdimals (kindly handed to us by our eldest), I plan to add as many animals as possible so everyone can find their favourite!
