Dorset born and breed Russell is a contract Hedgelayer. Based in Dorset, South West UK he has been carrying out the traditional craft of Hedgelaying since 1999 along with being a member of The National Hedgelaying Society (NHLS) also since 1999,

Three times Class National Champion, Russell has held NHLS Accreditation since 2007

Russell is a Accredited Assessor and Trainer with the National Hedgelaying Society Accreditation Scheme working in conjunction with Lantra.

His work is stewardship approved and a many times competition winner, right from his 1st competition in 1999.
