I started seriously herping in 2022, and haven't been able to stop. As much as it's about the adrenaline, the beautiful animals, and the great people, I think it's more so about meeting a goal. Spending the countless hours, the absurd amount of gas money, the late nights and early mornings, the flat tires, the days you get skunked, the poison ivy, the car-camping, and then to finally have it pay off with that euphoric lifer feeling just makes it all worth it.
