I spend a lot of time in and around wetlands, especially the marshes close to home. I’m less interested in dramatic moments than in what happens when you slow down and stay awhile — a bird resting in fog, the soft movement of water, the way light settles and then disappears. These photographs come from watching quietly and letting the scene unfold on its own. For me, the marsh isn’t just a setting; it’s a place that teaches patience, attention, and respect for the small, easily missed moments.
