For anyone that is interested, here is my information.

I am VERY late 50's, (!) I live in Northern England.

I started making models in the late 60's, when my Dad bought me my first kit, which, (if memory serves) was an Airfix 1/72nd Kittyhawk.

Dad had served in the Desert during WWII, and had seen lots of them and he had an affection for them.

I made lots of Models back then; Tanks, aircraft and so on.

I also LOVED the Aurora kits, those of Dracula, Hunchback, Frankenstein's Monster and etc. and so on.

I stopped making models when I discovered Hormones and girls! (lol) I am sure that is familiar to many of you?!

I started making models again, whilst in the Army.

MANY squaddies did so; The NAAFI shops always had a big stock, (Mainly Tamiya kits, strangely!. VERY little Airfix!) and soldiers who were bored, and/or isolated from the Human race, in out of the way postings, made LOTS of models! (obviously, in this age, those same bored squaddies will be on play stations, or at least on the tinterweb)

After leaving the Army, I continued to make models, as an "Adult"!

So, here we are now; I make Tanks, aircraft, Zombies, Horror/sci-fi/fantasy, civvie vehicles....in fact, you name it and I do it!

My preference is probably for Military, but a VERY close second is sci-fi/fantasy.

I am NOT the best modelmaker in the World, but I do have some good ideas and certainly have a good imagination/creative spirit.

I hope you like my models, but if you don't, I hope I will at least inspire some of you, or give you some ideas/techniques, to help with your hobby. TTFN. Feel free to message me, if you want to talk about anything Model related.

Take care and remember; keep your powder dry and your prophylactics moist!

Please do leave comments on my pics. Your input, whether pos, or neg will be appreciated.

Take care. Hope to speak to some of you soon, regards, James.
