Welcome to Cedar Rapids George Washington High School Events!

Here you'll find some of the latest pictures and news about Washington High School. Time and contributions are on a voluntary basis, so please understand if not all events are covered here. If you would like to see a particular event covered, please feel free to make a request by emailing cmcwherter adding @crschools.us to complete the address. The goal here is to capture as many or all participants for the activity posted, so please be sure to check out all the photos.

This website has been created by the inspiration of the Washington High School Community to commemorate the accomplishments of all contributors to Washington HS and what it means to be a Warrior.

On a personal note, my inspiration to take pictures at Washington activities was ingrained by my parents as they would cut out articles from 5 county newspapers in Ohio, laminate them, then send them to schools in care of the student named in the articles with a note of congratulations and thankfulness for their efforts.

Parents get to watch, students get to see themselves, and everyone reflects on the times being a Washington Warrior.

I hope you enjoy this site, even if it is a fraction of the happiness it brings me to create it.
