I am certified wildlife biologist (retired) by training. I started photography while in high school and applied it professionally through college. I continued graduate studies in biology with a MS in wildlife management. But photography gave me a special way of studying nature. My background includes biological scientist (State of Florida), senior wildlife biologist and national wildlife refuge manager (US Fish & Wildlife Service). I photograph everything that's interesting and have special interest environmental conservation, science education, sports (hunting and fishing photography) and macro-photography.
