Hello! I like photography, ..who would have thought? Started out with film, then used compact digital cameras for a while, but with not too much enthusiasm I have to admit. Later, by chance, life gifted me a DSLR body which consequently kicked off my photographic journey I for some reason never dared to start myself.

What I like about photography is that it provides me with a different way of being outside, the many possibilities to capture and express my love for nature. I do appreciate the raw creative and artistic process itself as well, the potential of the digital lightroom etc., even though it is a rather fragile and challenging thing for me at times. I also enjoy the technical aspect of it (for the most part), that it's a craft basically with endless opportunities to fail, to succeed, optimize, expand and learn even more.

I think sharing photos is a nice and endearing thing too, but which I haven't really done much of until now. I guess that's part of the reason why I'm here. But it's important to me that my photography remains an endeavour with an intrinsic value and meaning for it's own sake. It has been thus far.

So naturally, I do a lot of landscape photography, but also love weird things, like infrared and macro photography, monochrome pictures, abstract stuff, occasional architecture, all kinds of panoramic imaging and doing creative and experimental developments in postprocessing, and of course, all these things are intertwined and do feed on each other, which I find great.
