Hello: I am Advanced Amateur photographer, and a semi-retired clinical child-adolescent psychologist living and working in Manhattan, New York; for those of you who do not live in the USA, Manhattan is an island borough in the City of New York. I seem to be drawn to, attracted to an amalgam of urban, architectural and fine art images although living in this hectic, dense and dynamic social setting, occasional street shooting is unavoidable: for in most instances people almost scream out "Take my picture", "Capture Me Forever". But the more abstract an image the better; to be drawn into the vague and the mysterious, to project meaning when there is none or to extract what is not immediately apparent is a great pleasure. My guiding photographic philosophy is to try to avoid, at all costs, cliches.
