Retired public high school teacher now with time to pursue my love of nature photography. My time is primarily spent in S Central Michigan and Texas' Lower Rio-Grande Valley (USA). My favorite subjects are birds, butterflies, and Odes. While my wife is the master (mistress?) of creating target-rich environments that I'm more than happy to exploit, I often just head out to known or likely spots with my camera and trusty zoom thrown over a shoulder and shoot whatever strikes my fancy. It’s my hobby, and I’m going to play it the way I want, or I’ll take my camera and go home.
