Counting pixels in mountains, seas, forests, big cities and some times in space with my Sony Alpha and Lightroom (no gradient tools and masks). Started posting on Flickr in April 2024.

Getting my Sony Alpha 6000 back in 2016 was a good decision. I was just starting my PhD and I knew that I would be travelling quite a lot. I was between getting a good mobile phone or a good camera. I went for the camera and my first adventure was a trip to Miami for a conference. I had no idea what the buttons on the camera were. My supervisor was trying to explain the f-stops to me (in the worst possible way in my defence). I came back from a week's trip with 700 (questionable) photos.

I can say that by now I am a professional "amateur photographer" :P. Still with my Sony Alpha (upgraded to 6500), my Sigma prime lenses, and my polarizing filters. Thank you for reading this!
