I was born in 1953. After school I became a Belgian Air Force pilot till 1998. Then worked as a helicopter pilot at Noordzee Helikopters Vlaanderen and retired in 2013. I am interested in photography and amateur astronomy (astrophotography, see my photos on www.astrobin.com/users/Tranquility-Base/ ). These pages on Flickr mainly shows images of the Sun in white light and in H-Alphe. It also shows images of the solar and the lunar eclipses I observed.
