Hello family and friends.

For a long time I've wanted to create copies of all the Jamieson family photos and make them accessible for the whole extended family. The crux of this Flickr album was my Mum coming home to NZ in Sept 2022 with her treasured box of old photos in tow. Ninety year old Anne (the baby of her family), has lovingly cared for her mothers photo album over the decades.

Dorothy (who refers to herself as Doff) started the album as a single woman and it is full of very tiny, often blurry/overexposed photographs. Many of which her husband Hugh developed on-site at the lights they were stationed at. Their order tells a story, as do the inky scribbles she has written beneath them. I think it's time that this story is made available to anyone who will enjoy them. I'm also adding in the many loose photographs Anne has collected from her childhood and youth, and I am hopeful that my cousins and their families will also be willing to scan and share images that help to tell the story of the Jamiesons, the places they lived and their amazing everyday adventures!
