Born in Lutcher, La in 1956 along the Mississippi River.
I've been serious about Wildlife Photography for more than 20 years now. My Nikon 400mm F2.8 VR lens was a game changer in my wildlife photography. I consider it one of the finest lenses in the world, especially the low light F2.8 aperture and fantastic bokeh.
Also was taught so many techniques of wildlife photography by a friend I met shooting in the same vicinity. Ronnie Gaubert passed about 10 years after I met him from Lou Gehrigs disease. Sad, but still have the heartbreaking message he sent me telling me this was the end.
And last, so lucky to have access to a public/private road where I take all of my photos from the seat of my truck. Amazing

Nikon Cameras and Lenses I’ve Owned
Since digital SLR cameras were created, I’ve owned the following cameras, lenses, and accessories.
I've had Nikon D70, D90, D300, D7000, D7100, D7200, D1, D1H, D3, D4, D500 (Still have) and now own and use Z6 and Z6ii.
Love the new mirrorless Z series cameras.
D9 on my wishlist!
Current lenses include Nikon 400mm F2.8 VR F Mount (my dream lens) and Z series lenses including 24-70mm F2.8 S, 70-200mm F2.8 S (great lens), 85mm F1.8 S, Nikon 24-120 F4 S series, Nikon S 400mm F4.5 (great lens) and Nikon Mirrorless S series teleconverters 1.4x and 2.0x, both work excellent but recommend 1.4x which shows no loss in picture quality.
First Camera was a Minolta XD-11 back in the late 1970's. The first film camera to have both aperture and shutter speed priority.
