I do nature photography as a hobby. I decided to get my photography to the next level early 2022 by getting a mirrorless ILC. At the moment, most of my photos are in the processing queue, and I have only shared a handful of the processed ones, but maybe I will eventually get to share some more.

With most of my images, I'll try to go beyond the pixels: I'll share a story of how I took the photo, maybe explain something about the subject, share some tips on technique or tell what I like about the photo. I hope you will find this useful, interesting and/or entertaining!

I use darktable for processing images. Occasionally I sharpen or remove noise with Topaz Labs tools. For focus stacking, I recently discovered an open-source software simply called "focus-stack" by Petteri Aimonen, which seems to work very well.
