I love quilting and collecting fabric and I seem to be much better at the collecting part, there is never enough time in the day to sew all of the fabric I have bought. I have been quilting for about 10 yrs now and discoved flickr 2 yrs ago and I have had more fun and learned more in the last 2 yrs then in the previous 8yrs.

 

I love the challenge of trying something new, and have not found a style of quilting that I would not like to try. I am impressed with all of the new ideas popping up everyday.

 

I seem to be drawn to woodland themes lately they are so adorable. There is not a color I do not like, but I am always finding myself leaning towards blue green combinations. I love seeing new color combinations that I would never have thought of putting together.

 

I love swapping it is definitely an addiction I sign up for so much I don't have time to sew something for my self but I love the surprise factor and making something for someone who really appreciates what you are doing. I do worry about living up to my partners expectations there are so many amazing quilters out there and I pray they will like what I make for them.

 

If you are my partner you should have no worries I love everything, I just want you to make what inspires you. I will love it.

I love scraps of all kinds and I am starting to save selvages to make a string quilt.... it will probably take me forever to collect enough.

 

I love hexagons and I am collecting 2 1/2 inch squares to make a queen size quilt this will also be a long term project to collect the squares so I am always up for a swap if anyone is interested.
