I am a hobby photographer from Mannheim, Germany. I like travel, landscape, cityscape, and some street photography. I'd been doing smartphone and point and shoot style photography for the longest time before I got a Sony Alpha 6000 in September 2021. After that I developed a bigger interest in photography and have been regularly practicing it ever since. I now carry a camera when ever I am out to not miss out on any opportunities in every day life. I am shooting in RAW and editing the pictures in RawTherapee.

I discovered the following techniques since I started out (in this order):

1) Effectively using depth of field

2) Editing raw files

3) Discovering ultra wide angle perspectives

4) Discovering super zoom / tele photo perspectives

5) Planning a shot based on time & location (often landscape)

6) Applying significant cropping in post

7) Looking for interesting light/shadow perspectives

8) Discovering abstract shots (usually architecture)

9) Black & White

10) Using shift lenses for correcting perspective of architecture photos
