I have decided to start this Flickr page to upload picture of Ipswich i have taken over the years. Most of them are around the Waterfront which will always be the docks and is where i played as i grew up living in Back Hamlet. My father and I both worked there for Eastern Counties Farmers (ECF) at different times and my father helped out on a Thames Sailing barge Phoenician and an old harbour tug T.I.D 172 which were owned at the time by a Mr Albert Groom.

When i get the chance i will aim to add further details to each picture and hopefully others from around the town.

This is also the best way i can think of to show the pictures and prevent them getting lost in case they are wanted in future.
