A keen photographer but reasonably new to trying to take proper photographs not just snaps. I've always had an interest since owning a Kodak Instamatic in the 1960's as a child) I am an amateur, based on the isle of Wight and also a member of the small but perfectly formed Niton & District Camera Club. Particularly interested in street/urban, dramatic landscapes, mono, shapes, textures and abstracts. I have recently undergone a basic level judge/appraiser training and am therefore a level one judge albeit with 'P' plates.

I really do try and reply to your kind comments and visit/fave the Photostream of anyone who likes my images but apologies if I miss anyone, which can happen especially if a picture gets on Explore and there are so many to try and respond to.
