I have always loved photography. For me, the magic lies as much in the process as in the final image. I am deeply drawn to the mechanical feel of the equipment, and I enjoy collecting and shooting with cameras that most people consider obsolete. There is something incredibly satisfying about learning the personality of a forgotten piece of gear and using its distinct character to capture the world as I see it. Beyond the tools and mechanics, though, my greatest joy in photography is the recollection: having a tangible, often imperfect record that anchors a memory and pulls a fleeting moment back into the present.
