Hi,

my name is Jay and after a cardiac arrest and heart attack in August 2020 which thankfully to my work colleagues I survived, I decided to buy a DSLR camera and start doing what I stopped doing years ago!

I studied photography in the early 90's with a Pentax K1000 back when pictures were still developed in dark rooms. Photography has come a very long way since then!

So I’ve been left with heart failure and whilst exercise is good for me, at the same time it is incredibly draining. Getting out and about taking pictures is helping my damaged heart and also giving me something to focus on (literally) rather than my life long, serious condition.
