Several years ago, I drove Route 66 backwards from LA to Chicago. It was one of the highlights of my life and I would love to do it again, but start in Chicago next time. If you ever get the chance, don't miss out on that experience.

After doing Route 66, my computer developed issues and decided to save itself by re-partitioning my hard drive, or something. At any rate, 99% of my Route 66 pictures disappeared. Not to worry, I have everything backed up on my external hard drive, but no. They are not there either. What the?? So now I have TWO external hard drive backups and... flickr! So now, everything that I would feel horrible about losing goes up here. If you all find it boring or amateurish, well, I am doing the best I can and learning along the way. So here I am, retired, but still learning and moving forward.
