Photography has surged in and out of my life since my early teens. Currently, I'm exploring how photographs can be made to look like paintings - oils, watercolors, pencil drawings, or even more abstract options - with a huge array of apps that now exist. I've resisted learning Photoshop (it feels like too steep a learning curve), but some of these apps give me wonderful options to "play" with my photographs.

And then there's the joy and satisfaction of a simple, beautiful shot. I'm still looking for those too.
