Trying to hold onto the hope and promise of love and art before we all go under...

********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

* I’ve been mesmerized by cameras for as long as I have memories.

* I remember being around 6 or 7, opening my sister’s Brownie Star Flash, and the spool of film popping out and rolling across the floor.

* I wanted to become a director or cinematographer - mixing Bergman’s stark soul slaps with Fellini’s kaleidoscopic circus.

* I am terrified of and addicted to travel. There are so many amazing points of life in the thousands of miles around us. I try to convey and celebrate some of that amazement.

* David Lynch, The Fall, Andre Gide, Sally Mann, Bowie, Paul Bowels, Joel and Ethen Coen, Franz Marc, Flannery O’Connor, Lee Miller, Stereolab, Hemingway, Cocteau, Diane Arbus, David Gates, Vivian Maier, Beatles, Fellini, CAN, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Ingmar Bergman, and The Kinks among man others keep me going and alive.

* I am fascinated and perplexed by humans’ complex relationship with their own and others’ bodies, therefore Flickr requires I must warn you that you will encounter nude humans in my feed - if this will offend you or you are legally prohibited, due to age or otherwise, to view unclothed humans, please move on and away from my pages

* To simply walk into the world naked and be absorbed by your environment is quite spiritual, so I enjoy examining and celebrating naturism.

* Clothes do not automatically make you celibate and removing them does not automatically make you hyper-sexual.

* I can’t discern any consistent style throughout my frames.

* Decades later I'm still trying to find my way - I try.

* I really don't get AI generated images on Flickr.
