I'll take whatever the day gives, but I'm partial to stained glass, rotten wood, fading paint and rusty metal. I've recently begun photographing the modernist churches designed by my father, Charles Hegarty, These are in the Irish counties of Derry, Donegal, Tyrone and Louth.
