Photography, for me, is an escape. It's a liberation from the usual daily grind.

When I look through the veiwfinder, and focus on the subject, all of my thought and concentration is right there in that moment, and all the rest of the world just fades away. For that moment, concern about what anybody else thinks ceases to exist and my cares are gone.

I love to shoot just about anything that catches my eye in some unique way, so I don't necessarily pin myself down with one particular genre, however the things I love to shoot most often are the things that bring a sense of peace to my soul, and I often try to express that serenity in my photography to the best of my ability.
