my inspiration

The concepts and individuality that I have seen shine though Tim walkers’ works have shaped the way that I now see the art of photography and how I would like to also have others see my work. Tim walker seems to focus on a very surrealist and almost magical aesthetic when it comes tohis photos and ideas making it not only stand out but take the stage when it comes to fashion photography. He is seen as the catalyst for that niche in the photography scene and that has given him multiple life changing opportunities to show case his talents, a big collab being with vogue on multiple occasions proving just how influential he is and securing his name with the greats. When I really analyse his techniques something that really stands out are how his colour schemes are always outrageous in the absolute best way, never leaving the spectators unsatisfied making an everlasting impression. This and his impeccable skill with the camera always make his models look outstanding. That leads onto my last point about how inclusive his work is, he finds the most unique bodies and makes their individual personalities shine through like no other artist I have seen before, for example Tilda Swinton. Her very essence is the unique and no one brings out out of her like Tim walker can.

That is why Tim walker is my biggest inspiration because he knows people, he makes beauty shine through the most abstract demonstrations and that is the impression I want to leave. I want to be able to make the good great. Just like walker I want to take the perfect photo.
