Hi, I'm Marios! I'm a local photographer from the small Blue Ridge community of Hume, Virginia. Living out here has taught me a few things across my childhood, that one can't rely on new mediums for entertainment such as livestreams and video games, due to low internet connection. However it was through moving here in 2018 and dealing with those issues, that I found my love for the outside world, and nature especially which puts me in a good mental state.

Since that discovery I have adopted videography and photography as a way of sharing my experiences with those who aren't able to, either to tell a certain story or give an idea.

Since becoming an adult, I can be found in local parks photographing wildlife, hiking mountains to prepare for the Appalachian Trail in 2026, at local events to capture feel-good images, or chasing storms when there's a severe setup nearby. Enjoying those experiences which I did not have as a child, and sharing them with everyone.

With storm chasing I have captured many supercells in the past 3 years, approximately 46 different supercell thunderstorms which I have seen. I have seen 5 total tornadoes, with the strongest being an EF2 near Jackson, Ohio on April 2nd, 2024. Then the widest was the next day near the small town of Warsaw, Virginia with an EF1 that was almost half a mile wide. Outside of this, I have captured a few flooding events with the snow melt earlier in February this year, and Helene flooding, which saw multiple communities in the Shenandoah Valley experience moderate flooding. I have captured 2 wildfire events, one of which I photographed in March of 2024 near the town of Luray. The strongest storm was in June of 2022, when a long-tracked squall line ripped through Fauquier County producing upwards of 115MPH winds from storm survey.
