I'm a native Kansan who is learning to appreciate the understated beauty of the midwestern landscape. Taking pictures is my favorite passion. While I think I have an eye for discerning an interesting scene, I won't call myself a photographer because I haven't, yet, learned the technical side of the craft. Maybe, someday.... My weekly goal is to find something interesting and noteworthy to photograph regardless of where life and vocation take me during the week - a challenge I've been fulfilling since 2004.
