Hi, my name is Rúnar.

I am primarily a bird photographer. For that purpose I currently use Nikon D500 with Nikkor 200-500 mm lens.

Living in Iceland, my photos are almost exclusively of birds in Iceland, which is also why the names of the birds in my albums are given in Icelandic, in addition to English and Latin. My favourite bird? Definitely White-tailed eagle (haförn/haliaeetus albicilla).
