I’m Ivanovitch Ingabire, a photographer and filmmaker from Burundi, currently based in Kenya. My work spans international humanitarian photography and filmmaking, as well as event photography.

I am the co-founder of Maison Bon Samaritain du Burundi, a Burundian humanitarian organization, and have volunteered for four years with Fraternidade Sem Fronteiras in Malawi on the Ubuntu Nation Project, and in DR Congo with Órfãos do Congo, a Brazilian humanitarian NGO. My photography journey began in 2010 at the Burundi Film Centre, where I trained in film and documentary production. With over a decade of experience, I have worked across Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

My work covers social events like weddings, birthdays, and concerts, along with portraits, lifestyle, photojournalism, documentary photography, and videography.

For me, photography is about capturing meaningful moments, both big and small. My camera serves as my third eye, always ready to find the perfect light, angle, and authentic expressions to tell compelling stories. I approach every project with passion, always prioritizing quality over quantity.
