Hey, everyone!

I’m a nomadic Native Hawaiian photographer technically based in Bellingham, WA. Being a “third-culture kid” with a deep connection to the Hawaiian heritage from my father and the German influence from my maternal grandparents - but raised all across the United States - connecting intimately to unique people and places comes naturally for me… a perfect combo for a rambler who wants to document the fascinating experiences of others.

Engrained in my heart is the undeniable pull to origin stories, indigenous cultures, wildlife, ecological sustainability and finding beauty in both the struggles and taboo-ed aspects of the human condition. After hitchhiking and trainhopping around North America for almost 2 full years, I rooted into Bellingham, WA as a home-base. It was there I was introduced to the finer points of photography, a craft that is now among my most persistent addictions (pairing well with a love for combat sports, and my involvement with wildlife and conservation). Transitioning from a career in wildlife and biological consulting, I now travel the country in my trusty Sprinter van, telling the stories of those I meet on the road - I aim to tell the stories of those whose voices need to be heard the most…

Photography (for me) is a mutually beneficial craft; I am empowered by knowing that I can empower you as we stand on opposite sides of a lens.
