Jax Art, Pastel Pencil Art

I decided to pick up a pencil and attempt to draw for the first time in January 2021. Since that moment, I have enjoyed spending each weekend creating where possible. My father was a wonderful artist. While I admired his work, I never thought of trying until he had passed. Art has now become a way of celebrating him and a way of expressing my love and admiration for all critters.

Still new on the journey but currently spending time with pastel and chalk pencils. I reside and work in Calgary, Alberta where drawing is like a weekend escape without having to go anywhere.

Such amazing photographers out there. It sure is an adventure when looking through the artistry of everyone’s photographs.
