I am a qualified and experienced Chartered Landscape Architect with over 30 years of varied commercial experience in design, construction, project management, landscape and ecological planning and management.

I like to specialise in 'designed ecology' or ecologically responsible design that blends aesthetic design with a sustainable and lower maintenance approach to design and long-term management.

My design solutions consider our changing climate and dwindling resources and are therefore often the most cost effective whilst also being attractive, wildlife friendly and of high pollination value.

I am currently a self employed garden designer specialising in wildlife gardens. I also like to work with experienced landscape contractors in a mutually beneficial ‘design and build’ approach where both learn from each other.

I like to sketch and paint with some of my artwork shown on these pages. I would be happy to paint on commission if interested.
