I'm an inveterate snap shooter of stuff. To me, in my pictures, cliche and mundane are the same as exciting and artistic. I like anything innocent in the world viewed through a camera viewfinder and I really love the feel and sound of shutters....especially on old film cameras. As for gear, I prefer legacy stuff. Most of my gear is film era. Although not a no-no, I intensely dislike zoom lenses.

While I prefer film and do most of my shooting in that medium, I am now really enjoying digital photography using mirrorless cameras because I can mount all of my lenses on any camera body with adapters. The Nikon Z bodies were a huge game changer for me. I do still use my venerable Pentax K-1 for tabletop or for the rare times I need to use autofocus. My one no-no in photography is taking a photo with a phone.

I do not engage in groups.....nor do I follow particular photographers strictly due to time constraints. i am very conflicted about comments and likes. Of course they make me feel good and I am very appreciative but they also make me feel obligated to respond for which I haven't the time.
