Creator of "Dream-catchers" - using (mostly) recycled materials. ....

Restoring and "up-cycling" - of vintage or old things, that have otherwise become damaged and were at risk of being destroyed / or thrown-away ! ( - A tragedy / or disaster for the environment and our great oceans ! )

Arts group ( - known as /or called, 'Alexia Visual Arts / Artists', "AVA" )

In support of / or trying to help improve towards positive mental health, including using arts as therapy; ....

Also - Friendship - We are hoping to (also) try to be able to start up a new (supportive-) friendship group, that can when possible occasionally have meetings (? - 'Covid-19' permitting ! ....)

Creation of Colouring-in books and other gift-wrapped items for poorly Children, (e.g. in Hospital),

(since, May 1996 - known as /or called, 'Alexia Art 4 Kids', during the last approximately 10 years).

Small Pet-rescue / fostering & adoption, (using facilities called or known as, 'Chloe's Corner' - that alternative name has been in use for about the last 10 years, or so).

AND including also - Hedgehog Rescue services / rescue & rehabilitation / conservation - usually, Wild, but sometimes been involved with helping with the pet ('African-pygmy' - ) ones. It has always had a high success-rate, as because of the high standard of care and dedication that has been given to them. All (100 %) of any waste produced by these small animals while they have been in our care, has always been composted-down naturally. Very actively or intensely, for well-over 20 years, now, (- but have had to put much of services "on-hold" as because of the current 'Covid-19' Pandemic crisis. )

Overall, this not-for-profit Charity-type organisation has now existed (properly -) for almost 28 years - having been originally founded late in 1993 / and during 1994. Incredibly, it had been involved with a small "in-house" paper / magazine, called 'Lyndale Press' - that began 30 + years ago, way back very early in 1991 - that then became the "launching-pad" for the organisation during the back-end of 1993 / and beginning of 1994. Although a number of different organisations and people were involved in helping our OWN little organisation get off the ground, beyond being just ideas staying only in our heads ! It is, of course, thanks to all of them that our little organisation ever got off the ground, at all !

During that established length of time, it has seen many changes and has been involved in quite a variety of diverse activities. These activities have been and are always / or usually connected or linked with either trying to help sick children and/ or nature / & the environment. It has ALWAYS been a non-profit -making organisation, run entirely by volunteers, - it has NEVER been involved in with trading / or as a profit-making business !

THANK YOU to absolutely EVERYONE who has been kind enough to have supported us, in one way or another, over all of these many years ! Here's to Year 29 !
