Good Day to All

My photo stream is very mixed up date wise. I have posted on Flickr for around 15 years. Flickr messed thing up in some way and I have only been able to recover some photos but not comments etc.

I have given some fairly long descriptions as to how I took certain photographs and processed them in Photoshop. Please ask for more detail if you are interested.

It would be good if you are one of those who lift/steal photos from the internet that you could ask me first and credit me. If not, so what? I will just have to feel a little flatted. I have spotted a few of my images in strange places over the years. Not just the Sunday Times mag and other publications who paid me for their use.

I don't go on exotic photo tours, I cannot justify the inflated costs. Also I like to chose my own photo subjects rather than snapping away in a group. People do get some great photos, but who's, theirs or the leaders? All the photos on here were taken in my own studio with my lights and equipment or on location on my own or with my wife Glynis.

Over three years ago I moved from Southsea to Petersfield where I joined the excellent PPS, a camera club. Being a member of a Club was a first for me. Since then I have started to learn about what club judges like. This inevitably this has influenced my personal photography. Like most people in clubs, I like to win !

I was brought up in a photographic family and used photography most on my life for various purposes, now I must concentrate on winning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please put me straight.

By the way I am a "All the gear but no idea" type enjoying the camera more than the result.
