Invertebrate Zoologist with a primary interest in arachnids, especially dispersal limited taxa (and fungi on the side).

 

I graduated from San Diego State University with an MS in evolutionary biology studying phylogenomics and biogeography of the Aliatypus erebus group.

 

When it comes to photography, I'm learning as I go and I appreciate any insights or suggestions people have. I am extremely grateful to all who have shared their experiences and tips for photographing the smaller majority that surrounds us all.

 

My current setup consists of the following:

Sony a6000 body

Laowa 65mm lens (most subjects)

Laowa 25mm lens (for smaller subjects)

Flash: Godox

DIY diffuser
