Living in Denmark in a small, indifferent town about 35 km north of Copenhagen.
Unfortunately, I am not living from taking photos but work in the development department as strategic planner in the largest power producer and electricity distributer in DK.
If you visit my stream I will visit yours. I insist on giving meaningful feedback to the best I can and hope you will do the same. Not that I think I am any sort of expert of genius, but I think it miss all essence of commenting on photos if is just brainless positive back scratching. For my sake I would not learn anything from such commenting – so please give your honest feedback.
You are more than welcome to add me as a contact and I would like to exchange ideas and experiences.
I think that to me there are three sorts of photos. The one where you capture a slice of the ever running time and fix a moment of the flow of history and the people in it. To stop time and allow moments of reflection. Or the photo that result in an impressionistic interpretation of a subject, probably distorted from it’s obvious form and colours; the artistic photo in other words. Some portraits or social documentary photos make up a special category for me. The best of them are able to express emotions beyond what can be said in words.
Well, at the end, the quality and the meaningful photo are measured by the time it can maintain the viewers attention I think; no matter for what reason he or she stops to reflect about the photographic expression.
