I own two old Canon DSLR, the 450D and 7D, a few lenses (70-300, 10-22, 24-70, 50, 18-55) and some other photography gears, but rarely use them anymore, or rather becoming old and lazy. I really love landscapes and portraits. I've been enjoying photography since early 2007 starting with the Sony Ericsson K800i and BenQ C840.
I first joined Flickr back in 2009 and had a real good time interacting, admiring and getting inspirations from other photographer communities globally. Then I decided to permanently delete my account in 2016. It has something to do with Yahoo, who owns Flickr back then, with their very controversial and massive data breach.
I was worried sick about some idiots who potentially tried to hijack my account, steal and sell all my data. That's why I delete it.
I was on Instagram showcasing my works for a while before, and was really happy there sharing almost a thousand photos, mostly my own works, but then the stupid changes they, (the fucking Meta) decided to make to that platform made me quit. "Instagram hates photographers!" is what people are saying.
And in August 2021, I re-joined Flickr... 😅. Because of the intense boredom of staying indoors during the Covid-19 pandemic, seeing all the beautiful photos here somewhat made me feel at peace.
I'll be using three of my Android smartphone cameras, two Xiaomi devices: Redmi 9T and Mi 10T Pro, and Honor X9. Honor was a brand owned by Huawei before they were sold to a consortium of Chinese companies and become fully independent.
It's gonna be a post full of mediocre, low quality landscape camera phone photography, but I'll try my very best to get the best shot. For camera app, any compatible GCam is my default camera app because stock camera app from these three so-called smart devices are really sucks at taking pictures.
All post-processing will be carried out using these apps:
- Snapseed
- PS Express
- TouchRetouch
- Handy Photo
- Lens Distortions
- Teo (Teal Orange)
- Phonto (for watermark)
Oh, and also, Adobe Photoshop CS6 and ACDSee Pro 10 on my old, but still very capable Acer laptop.
Glad to be back on Flickr. Cheers!
