I retired at the age of 75 after a long career in education, first as a teacher, then in several aspects of Educational Technology. I've dabbled in photography since my high school days. My photo subject interests have always been all over the map and I'm now trying to bring more discipline to my subject decisions so I can hone my ability to see what is truly around me.

One of my consistent themes is my grandkids and you may see some of them in the images I put up for public display.

I'm self-taught and constantly learning, so I look forward to sharing with this vast community. I've always used Nikon equipment, my latest being a D500 and I use my trusty Samsung Galaxy Note. It's true! The best camera is the one you have with you.
