Strictly analog photography, I've been making pictures for around 25 years, currently thats large and medium format film primarily. In the past I've tinkered with wet plate/alt process printing etc. family life keeps me from having the chemistry needed for wet plate around the habitat these days.
I generally prescribe more to the William Mortensen school of thought on photography vs the Ansel Adams school. While both were amazing in their bodies of work and what they accomplished I've always considered Mortensen's idea of what a picture should be "aloud" to be, to be a more open and creative interpretation of "art" as opposed to a static exact replica of the scene. Hence why a large potion of my pictures have a darker ethereal quality about them, they are meant to evoke a sense of living in an other worldly place/time.
