Amateur, main interest: Nature Photography. Feedback and advise are very welcome.

I started photography with a Panasonic GX80 early 2020 and fumbled around, later I discovered a faible for nature photography, still fumbling. In summer 2021 I became more passionate, and therefore maybe a little bit more skilled. In October ‘21 I added a Panasonic G9, mainly for birds and stuff.

Macro photography suits me well, with lack of time and means to travel extensively. More often I pick my telephoto lens nowadays. Birds are more challenging to me, and I’m still very happy about sharp pictures of fickle common birds. Landscapes still elude me in respect of occasion and skill. I experiment a little bit with night photography, abstract stuff, ICM and more, to keep things interesting and broaden my horizon at least to 16:9.

Most pictures are taken handheld.

I try to keep my stream variegated and - within the limits of my ability - of high quality.

For decreasing online-time, I try to reduce social media usage. When uploading images, I try to follow your work and appreciate it, but am not actively online otherwise. Please do not be offended, thanks. 🙏

This Explore-algorithm is clearly biased towards frogs and ICM-trees. Not sure I like this thing.
