Life is a journey, a journey that shapes your life! My insatiable wanderlust has taken me on some indelible and intrepid journeys across all seven continents!

I am not a professional photographer but I am passionate about it and try to shoot as much as I can. My wanderlust allows me to indulge in this passion I have and I feel very blessed for the opportunity this has given me not only to capture the wonders of the world but also to realize how fortunate I am when I see what people have to endure and be denied even the basic human rights and necessities of life! Travel makes me humble and appreciate my life better!

Albert Einstein said "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." I can absolutely relate to this and when I shoot, I feel that it is when I connect with the environment or even the people/wildlife I photograph, my pictures convey my empathy with the subject better. Cameras today makes it easy with the technical aspect, it is the emotional intelligence we bring to the picture that can tell the story best!

I do not specialize, I enjoy landscape as much as doing street or portraits or shooting wildlife etc. The amazing awe inspiring sights that can simply take your breath away leaves you with ineradicable memories that you can cherish for a lifetime. The more I travel, the more I realize how little I know. Every trip and every interaction provides me new perspectives about how different and yet same people are and the uniqueness of the myriad cultures I experience. From the simplicity of extremely skilled fishermen in Myanmar Inle lake, to the Chanka or the Cañari tribes of South America, to the berbers in Morocco and so on the experiences have been mind boggling that I want to share through the medium of photography.
