Hi!, Welcome to my perception of reality.

I am relatively new to still photography. I bought my first DSLR in mid-2016 to complement my videography hobby as I was seeking to capture local kiteboarding activity in different and finer details.

Although I also covered other local sporting events and experimented with portrait and urban still photography, I soon became enthralled by nature photography, its challenges as well as the benefits I draw from the outdoors, physical activities and the mental fitness that came with my discovery of the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Since I purchased my first mid-range DSLR, I have depressed a shutter button on a daily basis covering macro, wildlife, landscape as well as astrophotography, never running out of subject of interest even without travelling far from my hometown. Camera lenses have allowed me to discover and appreciate my immediate surroundings as well as some far-flung locations while striving to explore the endless possibilities of the art of still photography and post-processing techniques.

Last but not least, are the countless acquaintances I have made on nature trails or while training my lenses on subjects of interest, big and small. Photography gives me pleasure and joy on a daily basis and more so when I see the reactions of children upon inviting them to peer through a long lens to view distant wildlife.
