I started my photography journey in 2010 with a little Coolpix pocket camera. At first, it was just something to do because I needed a new hobby due to joining the US Navy. Then in 2013, my husband bought me a Sanyo 21x optical zoom camera, and that’s when the photography bug bit me. I tough myself how to use manual mode and how to take photos. In 2015 I bought my 1st DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel SL1, and my skills have been growing since ever. I now have a Canon EOS 7D Mark II that I love.

My skills have improved so much that I want to share my photos. I mostly take pictures of animals, nature, and landscape. You can usually find me at a zoo, beach, or trail with a camera in my hand. I still have a lot to learn about photography, and I am always reading books, magazines and watching videos to try and learn more. I hope you like the photos that I share.
