Update - August 2024
I haven't posted any updates for a few years! Which is just awful of me, I really am the Queen of Procrastination! Never put off until tomorrow, what you can put off for 3 years seems to be my motto 😁
Well, it's been such an amazing three years since Gill finally started spreading her wings!
There's been so many amazing experiences, I couldn't possibly list everything, but I'll just share a few of the highlights.
I never would have imagined having a girlfriend as amazing as Alice, we are so great together, and we've managed to make our long distance relationship work so well, and in fact, it's made the times we are together all the more special. She's just an amazing girl 💕💕💋💋
And of course, my amazing friend Davina, who's really helped me grow, develop and become the lady I've always been inside. She's so wonderful, so supportive, and patient when I've had doubts and haven't felt confident in my femininity, and has helped me really come out of myself and get out into the big wild beautiful world. Thank you so much Davina, you're a beautiful friend 💕💕
And there's so many other lovely people who I've come to know both online and in real life, including Samantha, Rickey, Hollie, Melissa, Luna, and so many many more. I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful group of girly friends 💕💕
And then there's all the amazing experiences I've had...
Makeovers with Cindy at BWBG which really kickstarted my journey after so many years of keeping my girly side hidden and then on my second visit, being glammed up with Alice, and getting to fulfill our fantasy of being blushing brides together.
And then finding Carla at Cheshire Dressers, and getting to visit her on a semi-regular basis, getting to try lots of lovely looks, and going out for a photo shoot outside, in a lovely setting. She really does look after me when I visit, And I'm so lucky to have found her as she's just a lovely person.
I've had so many wonderful experiences a spending time with Alice, Davina and other wonderful new friends, first just photos and chatting in hotel rooms, which really helped build up my confidence.
And then being able to gradually make my first steps into the world - first with Davina, who figuratively held my hand as I stepped outside, and then encouraged me more and more to embrace being a girl, until by this last June, I was visiting London, going out for meals, using trains, busses and the tube without worrying!
And also, spending time with my gorgeous Alice, as we stepped out together, first in Hull, with the amazing Emily, who was so caring and really looked after us as we visited the Star and had a wonderful evening.
Then visiting Bletchley in March this year, meeting so many wonderful girls, and then meeting Hollie, who's such a sweet, delightful girl. I hope we can meet up with her again as soon as our calendars will allow it!
And my last trip, down to Sunny Margate in July, where me and Alice got to spend time with the amazing Rickey, who is just a delightful bundle of fun and energy, and who I really enjoyed meeting up with 😊
And now, here I am, I've changed physically too, I've got pierced ears, and I've been having laser treatment to get rid of my pesky facial hair. This has been a revelation, and I'm so glad I took the plunge. My only regret is that I waited so long, as unfortunately, the white hairs have increased over the last few years, and laser doesn't really help with those! So to any younger girls reading this, who are thinking about getting laser, my advice is don't wait! Go for it while your hair is still dark, and you'll hopefully get results you'll love!
I think I've finally settled on a makeup routine that I'm comfortable with too. It might not be too dramatic, but I think it suits me and is a nice natural look. And I've developed an everyday style I'm happy with, I might not be a sexy bombshell, but I like to think I can be pretty and feminine on a good day with the wind behind me 😊
So, that's a quick update on me over the last few years.
My final piece of news is I've decided to reveal my middle name, which is Olive. It was both my mum and my Nans name, so I'd like to think they'd be pleased that I've decided to continue the family lineage and take their name. I hope you all like it. Feel free to call me Olive if you'd like to, I'm proud to call myself Gillian Olive Burgess.
So now, I'm looking forwards to what the future holds, I can't imagine where I'll be in another 3 years, but I'm sure there'll be lots of wonderful experiences and wonderful people on the journey 💕💕

Just a 50something CD, still mostly hidden in the closet, but I've recently been exploring my feminine side by having a makeover at the amazing Boyswillbegirls in London.
So hopefully, as Gill discovers herself more and more, I will be able to spread my wings a little and finally escape from behind the pile of coats, jackets and empty shoeboxes in my closet! 😊

Gill is a lovely lady who has quickly become a good friend. She is so kind and considerate as well as being an attractive lady. Davina xxx
Gill has quickly become a lovely friend on here. I enjoy seeing her photos and exchanging messages as she starts to come out of her shell and take her place as one of the wonderful Flickr ladies. It will be great to see her emerge more as her confidence builds and her wardrobe grows.
Ive only just recently met Gill through Flickr but in that short time she has proved what a lovely genuine person she is. I feel proud to call her my friend and wish her all the best of health and happiness. Sue Freeman xx
